Tonsillitis, Asthma, two new schools and an embarrassing moment…
So what do we have this week?
Jack - home sick all week with tonsillitis. Wheezing from his winter onset asthma (every winter we dig out the spacer)
Aimee - Hyperactive after a school disco, and wanting to set up a tent in the rumpus to watch High School Musical ALL NIGHT…
Sophie - has been offered the chance to skip from Year 5 to High School next term. Sadly, it is up to the bank balance whether it happens or not. Montessori don’t come cheap.
Katie - is also starting at a new school next week which has a better cross country team. Her first day there will be spent competing in the Zone Carnival!!!
Me - this week I have had my busiest week to date. Lots of Mums and Bubs having sleep, feeding and overnight "issues", so have pretty much been working on getting those special little people settled and comfortable. Had a magazine interview on Monday, and working on articles mostly. Nothing all that different to usual.
Had a major cleanout last night. I decided that my daughters are hoarders and started getting rid of their toys/hair accessories/2 year old magazines. Lots of open mouths, tears and screaming later, and I now have everything on my stairs awaiting approval for "culling". If you can help it, try to have just boys. Girls are extremely high maintenance.
To top off this marvellous week, I spent 2 hours in the doctor’s surgery with my 3 year old son, Jack today. Sitting in the waiting room were:
My ex neighbour with whom I have a… hostile relationship
Our school librarian
3 Mums from the school
My ex boyfriend’s sister
My son, being the tactfully polite, adorable little cutie that he is thought it necessary to yell"Mum. Mum. Mummy!!!! I farted" Aaaah good times. Good times.

My gosh you did have a week! Have been nursing a sick child also - Charley had a really bad chest infection so I was housebound all week! Would love to hear more about the mag interview!
